Maintain a good hygiene
It is important to keep good foot hygiene in the first place. To do this, you can:
- Wash your feet the day before and cut your nails before each workout.
- Stretch properly so as not to cause injuries to tendons and muscles.
- Wear socks at your size and without wrinkles to avoid friction.

- Choosing the right shoes
- The choice of a good pair of sports shoes is an important parameter for an athlete and helps to take care of his feet.
When you go to buy sports shoes, do it preferably at the end of the day, when your feet are slightly swollen, so as not to have any unpleasant surprises with a pair of shoes that becomes too tight after a sports session.
In addition, make sure that the heel is well supported, that the toes have enough space and that the shoe absorbs shocks sufficiently. You can also buy a pair of silicone sports insoles or orthopaedic insoles if you need them.
The visit to the podiatrist
A visit to a podiatrist is important and highly recommended, whether you train every day or once a week. And the visit is all the more important if, in the past, you have suffered sprains, fractures, etc.
During the visit, the podiatrist will examine you to make sure that there are no problems that could cause or lead to an injury and may also recommend orthopaedic insoles to correct any identified disorders.
Beware of fungal infections
A fungus is a very embarrassing dermatological condition caused by a fungus. If you want to avoid them, wear socks, preferably cotton, that are suitable for your size and do not wrinkle.
Beware of blisters
